Brother/Best Man Toast

Information provided:

My brother, Tim met Dara four years ago at the Crabshell (a bar and restaurant in Samford, CT.) Here's some of my memories about my brother.  He was known to "streak" as a little kid.  I remember happy family vacations to Maine, playing golf, Indian Guides, Pennypackers swim team.   Tim  loves to laugh, and has a great sense of humor.  He is always ready to lend a helping hand.

He went boating once with Mike Kuehler late October and the battery died.  They had to "cuddle" to keep warm overnight.   "This does not leave the boat!", Tim  said.

Dara and Tim both love dining out, going out on the boat, taking walks with Tucker (their dog).  When Tim proposed to Dara, he hung the ring on the ceiling over the bed and Tucker almost ate the ring!

I hope you can come up with a toast that is warm and has some humor.  Thank you.

Here's the Toast it generated:

Four years ago, at The Crab Shell

In Stamford, you found each other.

I raise my glass to you, Dara,

As I toast you and my brother.

Dara, you know what you're getting,

But, allow me to enlighten your guests

As to the reasons you chose Tim,

And why he is simply the best!

Tim, let me go way on back now,

To a time when you ran without clothes.

You were known as a little "streaker";

Why you did that, God only knows!.

Remember our family vacations

To Maine, and The Indian Guides?

And Pennypackers, the Swim Team,

I can still recall with some pride.

Some secrets I swore I would keep for you.

But, this one must simply be told.

Out on the boat with Mike Kuchler

In October, when the weather turned cold.

You cuddled together to keep warm;

I don't see what's the big deal,

Unless there's another secret

You're finally ready to reveal?

You have a great sense of humor.

You're really such a great guy.

When friends need help with a problem,

You're always ready to try.

And if you need proof that you're clever,

Let's remember the engagement ring.

You hung it down from the ceiling,

And your dog almost ate the damn thing!

You and Dara make such a great couple.

Your future is bright as can be.

Sharing the things that both of you love:

Walks with Tucker, dining out and the sea.

So, raise your glasses with me

For the best that life has to give.

To Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Nee

As long as they both shall live!

Happy Wedding, Happy Life!

 Testimonial:

You did it!  Thanks for making me look good.  It's really wonderful.

-Chris Nee
