Birthday Sample 2

Wife's Birthday Poem:

Here's some information about my wife.  I need this by this weekend, sorry it's last minute.

We met in high school and our love affair lives on.  She loves animals, likes to keep things pretty.  Always doing something in the house to keep it neat and tidy.  Hates dirty ashtrays and dishes in the sink!

She has been told many times that she only looks about 35 to 40 and that makes her feel great.  She has sever dermatitis on her hands and is very painful. We have cats, dogs, birds; and they all make her feel good. She loves camping and traveling to tropical resorts, Florida and the Islands.  We're hoping to go back to Jamaica. She is 1/4 Apace Indian ( I am not)  and that is important to be mentioned.  We both enjoy thick steaks, Budweiser Beer and our weekly hot tub soaks.  She was a stay at home mom and is now a grandmother.  She is considerate and never thinks of herself and is wonderful to the kids.  The grandkids kid her about messing up their names. She is a beautiful woman inside and out. My nickname for her is Punkin'.

Well, Punkin', it's hard to believe it's your birthday time again.

You're as pretty as the day we met, in high-school way back when.

Although I am not an Apache, nor Native American, after all,

I was able to capture your heart somehow, and oh, how in love we did fall!

As a homemaker, there is no better, and as grandmother, you are the same.

But, the grandkids would be so happy, if you could only remember their names!

Your animals do make you feel good, though the pain in your hands is severe.

And you think of yourself hardly ever; no one's kinder than you are, my dear.

We share so much in common, like  how much we love a thick steak.

A camping trip, we both agree, could never be a mistake.

I love all the things you do to our home to keep it tidy and neat.

An ice cold Bud and our hot tub soaks continue to be a treat!

You remain sexy and charming; you're beautiful inside and out

I'd be nowhere without you, of this there is no doubt.

In Florida and on the Islands, I've shown you off with such pride;

Making these places better because you were at my side.

Going back again to Jamaica is something we look forward to.

How lucky a man am I, dear one, 'cause I share my life with you!

So, I finish now by saying I wish for you all that you wish,

And I promise that in the kitchen sink, you'll find no dirty dish!

Happy Birthday, Punkin!
